ABOUT JASON THE TEAM OUR SPONSORS SCHEDULE PHOTOS EastSeries.com	About Jason Cochran Jason was born in Daytona Beach,Florida. He grew up very much influenced by racing. His father Johnny Cochran was a Nascar All-Pro star, and has won countless races on short tracks in the south. Jason's brother, and current crew chief Dwane Cochran has won numerous mini stock races and has had several strong finishes in Late Models. Jason has a very strong racing history to be only nine-teen years old. He started out on half-mile dirt tracks all over North and South Carolina. He had many strong finishes at Thunder Valley, Cherokee Speedway, and Antioch Speedway. He has had several top five finishes in the asphalt Mini Stocks, and also locked up the 5th place in points in his first year at the track which was 2004. In 2005 he only ran a part time schedule and finished in the Top 10 in points. In his first ever late model race he came home with an impressive top 3 finish. In 2006 he collected several top 15 finishes at various tracks. He has TWO top 20 Finishes in his first two starts with the NASCAR Busch East Series. Jason will be piloting the #72 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Late Model and the #72 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS NASCAR Camping World East Series car at various tracks through out the Country.
